TTU’s Innovation Hub with Innosphere Ventures to Promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Texas | KLBK | KAMC

The Texas Tech University Innovation Center at the Research Park has entered into a collaborative agreement with Innosphere Ventures to support the innovation center’s missions of promoting economic growth in the state and region through partnerships public-private sector and foster entrepreneurship in the community.
Innosphere’s Academic Partner Program works closely with tech and startup entities and universities across the United States, such as the Innovation Hub, to advance technology towards commercialization, transforming startups into businesses successful businesses and build bridges between investors, business leaders and business partners.
“I look forward to working with the Innosphere team to identify industry mentors and funding opportunities for Texas Tech spinoff companies,” said Kimberly Gramm, associate vice president of innovation and entrepreneurship at the Office of Research and Innovation. “This partnership brings together a powerful network in Central America, while traditionally new startups have sought funding and opportunities on the east and west coasts of the country.”
Founded in 2015, the Innovation Hub helps train technologies and all start-ups of critical importance to the local and regional economy. It helps foster and launch innovation through education, research, partnerships, mentorship and collaboration.
The Innovation Hub offers 12 programs throughout the year to further develop science and ideas, build high-impact tech teams, and launch successful startups. The programs fall into three categories: Ideation, Acceleration, and Commercialization.

Innosphere has partnered with technology transfer offices at Colorado State University, University of Colorado, Colorado School of Mines, University of Nebraska, Oklahoma State University, and University from New Mexico.
